Google Earth download site:
Uncheck “Include Google Chrome …” if you do not want to install the Google Chrome browser, then click on “Agree and Download” button

Expand “My Places”
Check placemark to view. Uncheck to hide placemark.
To adjust a placemark’s properties, right click on placemark name
Left click on “Properties”

Use the “File” dialog box to save the placemark or folder to your computer. Enter the name for the new file, and click Save in the dialog box. The placemark or the folder is saved to that location with an extension of “.kmz”
Double click on placemark name to zoom in
Uncheck placemark name to hide the map layer
Double click on location to zoom in on map
Or use the navigation control to zoom in or out on map
For 3D view, left click and drag Streetview icon to desired location
Release left mouse button to enter street view

Left click on 3D Viewer and drag the mouse for another angle of the same street
Left click to exit street view
Reset tilt and orientation of 3D Viewer pane

For maximum map resolution, left click on About Google Earth

To add a map overlay, left click on the Overlay button on the Toolbar
New Image Overlay popup window
Name the overlay image
To add the map image, left click on the Browse button
Select the map image file from the file manager popup window
Left click on the Open button
The map overlay will appear
Provide a description of the map
Drag the overlay window out of the way
Adjust the overlay opacity using the opacity slider
Stretch the overlay using the green corner markers
Or the green edge markers
Move the image using the green center marker
Rotate the image using the green diamond marker
Overlay after adjustments, 100% opacity
Drag the overlay window back and click on the OK button

To add a placemark, left click on the Placemark button on the Toolbar

Name the placemark
Provide a description of the placemark
Drag the placemark to the desired position, then click on the OK button
