  He is a popular musician, songwriter, arranger, and producer in Indonesia  He is a leader of rock band Dewa 19 and Ahmad Band  He is a member of intercontinental rock band titled The Rock  He is the owner of a producing company called Republic Cinta Management About Ahmad

  Has many hits from the bands he is especially Dewa 19  He has produced many stars including: Maia Ahmad, Agnes Monica, Alexa Key, and Mulan Jameela  Has written songs and lyrics for many pop stars  Awards: Best musical arrangement, best producer, and awards for Dewa 19  One of the most influential musicians in Southeast Asia Accomplishments

  Stepbrother, Dedang S. Manaf was a musician  His father bought him a keyboard and paid for music lessons as young boy in hopes he would grow talented in classical music  He was influenced by the Rock band Queen  He is the vocalist and keyboardist for Dewa 19  Has a strong interest in Jazz Musical Background and Influences

  One additional thing I found interesting about his music is that he used it to fight against religious extremist and hate in one of his best selling albums “Warriors of Love” in fact his was even cited in the Washington Post really showing his music crosses borders  This is also one of the reason he is my favorite artists because I think it really great when popular artist use there popular position to advocate to make the world better Political Statements
