POLAND

Poland is a parliamentary republic with the capital Warsaw. The most important artists in history have been Fryederyk Chopin and Krzysztof Penderecki.

The most important composer of story of Poland is Fryderyk Chopin. He principally composed romantic music and he is remembered “poet of piano”. Chopin was born in Żelazowa Wola, a village of Sochaczew, a rural town located a few kilometers from Warsaw, the 22 February 1810 in a family devoted to music, infact his father played the flute and the violin, his mother sang and also the sisters played. After the Russian Repression he moved to France. For 10 years he linked to writer George Sand. He died in 1849 at the age of 39 years. Chopin composed almost exclusively for solo piano, but the catalog of his works also include two concertos for piano and orchestra

Important are the Nocturns. For the realization of these works, Chopin was inspired by compositions that adapted easily to his nature typically dreamy and romantic. At first he drew his inspiration from the works of Irish John Field, but unlike these, composed to express his innermost feelings, rather than pander to the public.

The compositions of Chopin are the triumph of singing, beautiful sound and expression Compared with Field, Chopin's Nocturnes have the peculiarity of being divided into several thematic sections contrasting are juxtaposed various expressions of moods (sweet, soft, dreamy, but even violent) and also a more refined embellishments now that blend seamlessly with the melody. A recurring theme is the spirit of Polish

The fact that Chopin has published almost all of Nocturns compounds (18 of 21), as this indicates generally unable congenial. Chopin avoided in fact to publish works that do not completely convinced him or that they were not deserving, from his point of view, to enter the collection.
