GREATEST.BATTLE ( ): You have to let him in. Then when he gets in, he's got control. Then what does he do? He begins to use the conscience. He begins to use this, begin to use this outlet. What is it? See, taste, feel, smell, hear; imaginations, conscience, memory, reasons, affections. He begin to use all those different little channels, as long as he could get in, above this one here. He's got to come in your mind, first, and you have to accept it. Listen. It can batter against you, but it can't get to you until you accept it.

But men wasn't given to live by the five senses; to let the five senses guide him. He was given, prone to, born here to be led by the sixth sense. That's what God gave him the sixth sense for. But if This, coming from Above, oh, brother, if It ever strikes this, there is a godly spiritual faith. Then what does that faith do? That faith recognizes only the Word. When God puts it in there, all the devils out of torment will never move it.

The ground of confidence, assurance, guarantee, or proof. Faith supports all our hopes. Factual not speculation ALSO INDICATES -- Title deed= a legal document to effect a transfer of property and to show the legal right to possess it. This becomes our guarantee.

Hope: To expect with desire. Confidence about something coming to pass (confident expectation). Evidence: as to the truth or reality of something; proof, verification, certainty, evidence for; a proof of the things we cannot see’ or ‘evidence that what we cannot see really exists’

DOES.GOD.CHANGE.HIS.MIND (13-14): I believe that the Word of God is right. … (Skip) … Now, I haven't got faith enough, maybe, to make all of it act, but I certainly wouldn't want to stand in the way of somebody who did have faith enough to make It act. Like, for instance, Enoch had enough faith that he didn't have to die. He just took an afternoon stroll, and got tired here on earth and just walked on up to Heaven. I'd certainly like to have faith like that. But I hope that we do get that faith someday, as we grow on into Him.

Faith allows God to be God and lays hold on His sovereignty. Faith doesn’t ask why, it finds refuge in providence of God.
