Counselor Training Guide

Through the Birth of a Family Program clients are introduced to the hope that a lasting nuclear family can be achieved where fathers, mothers and children, live and grow together and, more importantly, are given the help they need to succeed. Introduction

Our Mission : Our mission is to promote the founding and strong growth of Biblical households through ministries of involvement.God Husband Wife Child

Statistics and the Need Single parents head a third of family households with children under 18. Half of American children will live in a single parent household at some point in their childhood. Since the 1980’s the number of children born to unmarried women per year has quadrupled. During that same time the number of single mothers has increased more than 300%. Daily in America, 1,186 babies are born to teen mothers. 3,742 babies are born daily to unmarried mothers

Powerful Results More likely to be enrolled in school Have good health Are less likely to become un- wed parents themselves before age 17 than those children living with only one parent. Girls with single parents were more than twice as likely to commit suicide than were girls with two parents. Children of single parents faced a dramatically higher probability of dying of drug or alcohol addiction.”

How the program works It is a program that captures opportunities presented when women seek the counsel of crisis pregnancy centers to offer the hope and help needed to take their children home to lasting nuclear families. We offer the program to Pregnancy Care Centers as a gift which includes everything needed to explore opportunities already occurring in pregnancy care centers converting them into lasting nuclear households where fathers, mothers and their children live and grow together in one home.

The POWERFUL Results Relationships with the Family and with God are strengthened Fathers, mothers and children living and growing together in one home Laborers are added to the harvest Fathers are coming home Triune Covenant Weddings
