NSW Road Transit Authority RTA’s major stakes in the area are the Cross City Tunnel, the Western Distributor and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Its colour, cladding and architecture were determined in consultation with other Government Departments & stakeholders There is a cross city tunnel ventilation stack located in the Darling Harbour area near Druitt St. The city’s major north south traffic route.

Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Manages a properties covering retail, leisure, heritage, transport, government and commerce on behalf of other organisations. Circular Quay wharves Managing retail tenancies & wharves for NSW Maritime Authority, liaises with various stakeholders such as Sydney Ferries. King Street Wharf promenade Managing promenade between Lime & King streets for NSW Maritime Authority - includes property maintenance, managing minor works, street furniture & assistance with events. Darling Harbour Managing 97 tenancies - waterfront cafes, restaurants and bars, shops, marina berths and many of Sydney's top attractions – includes cleaning, security and landscaping services.

NSW Government as Stakeholder NSW Government to sell Darling Harbour land The cash-strapped NSW Government will raise capital by selling public land and assets in Darling Harbour, including the Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World and IMAX. The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, which manages the assets, is calling for tenders for properties that include six major hotels, two of which are the Park Hyatt and the Shangri- La in the Rocks, plus the Harbourside Shopping Centre and Darling Walk at Cockle Bay. Opponents have accused the Government of sacrificing long- term revenue and the public interest for a quick return and said the sale would make the planning of events and development in the area much more difficult if private operators were involved. NSW Heritage Council Makes decisions about the care & protection of heritage places and items identified as significant to the people of NSW. Provides advice on heritage to the Minister for Planning, & recommends objects for listing on the State Heritage Register. The Council is an advisory body that includes members of the community, the government, the conservation profession and representatives of organisations such as the National Trust of Australia (NSW).

Barangaroo Delivery Authority The NSW Government’s is committed to the delivery of Barangaroo in a coordinated and financially responsible manner. Established under the Barangaroo Delivery Authority Act 2009 Barangaroo will extend from King St Wharf, along the eastern side of Darling Harbour to Millers Point and around to Walsh Bay. It’s a very large area of around 15 central city blocks but most is on the old Patricks Wharf site in Darling Harbour.

NSW Housing Manages publicly owned housing, mostly in Millers Point. Homes in Millers Point represent every decade of settlement from 1820 to it is the oldest existing European residential precinct in Australia Nearly 80 per cent of the properties in Millers Point are owned by the Government All of the Millers Point buildings are listed on the State Heritage Register for a range of reasons including their historic, social and architectural importance

NSW Dept of Environment Climate Change & Water DECCW oversees the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) which regulates air, water and noise pollution DECCW oversees Sydney Water, a Statutory Corporation responsible for stormwater sewerage & drinking water DECCW is the main government department responsible for protecting and caring for our environment, managing water resources and developing and coordinating programs to address the impacts of climate change in NSW.
