S.C.D GOVERNEMT COLLEGE LUDHIANA 1920: S.C.D Govt College, Ludhiana is a state of the art institution that was established in 1920 on the recommendations of the Presidency of Calcutta with . FA/F.Sc 1932:It rose to BA/B.Sc in 1932. 1952 : The MA/M.Sc, M.Com in the college were introduced in the year 1952. In the year 2004, the college was accredited by NAAC, Bangalore, and was awarded Grade A. 2009: In the year 2009, a Research Centre for PhD in Hindi was started in the college along with M.Com (Business Innovations) A UGC Innovative programme. Presently 9 post graduation programmes with one innovative programme is running in the college

SKILL ORIENTED PROGRAMME M.COM (BUSINESS INNOVATIONS) Specifically designed to suit industry requirements. Different from traditional courses because of inclusion of “Business Oriented Skills Component” which is generally not part of traditional courses. Designed for students who wish to acquire the skills related with innovation management in any kind of organization. Programme is cross disciplinary in nature that can provide added value for anybody holding a degree who seeks training in areas of business management with special emphasis on technology innovation and management. The Programme is innovative as it involve enhancement of business skills in students, research projects focusing on industry needs, involvement of industry experts in evaluating the various aspects of students skills, industry institute collaboration.
