Story of Who Says Selena wrote this song when she was in elementary school and because some kids where saying that she is ugly. Selena (in the song) is saying that no matter what you look like or who you really are you are perfect and you can’t change the way you look or the way you see things will not change yourself.

Message The message is: inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. The point of the message is that if people change themselves, they won’t understand that inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. The other message: be yourself.
