The God Who Heals 2 Kings 5: 1- 14; Luke 5:17 -26; John 9:1-41.

 Pride goes before a fall? 2 Kings 5:  Faith and forgiveness Luke 5:  “It’s not his fault!” John 9:1-41

He was not happy with the messenger. He was not happy about the method.  Pride goes before a fall? 2 Kings 5: Naaman’s pride almost cost him his healing!

Faith of the 4 friends Here we have an example of spiritual healing needed before physical. We don’t like to think physical sickness has its roots in sin: Greed can lead to obesity and so many physical problems; Worry and anxiety can cause physical symptoms; Anger and unforgiveness can also result in physical ailments. Jesus said, “Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up and walk’? HEALING TODAY 3 very different stories, but each have something to teach us about healing. Naaman – pride was an issue. Is it for you? Paralysed man – sin was an issue. Is there more going on in your life than just the physical symptoms? The blind man had done nothing wrong! His healing brought about his salvation, plus a great opportunity to tell others, even high ranking church people about his amazing encounter with Jesus. SHALOM – This is what God wants for each of us. Will you allow Christ to bring healing to you today?
