What is the CWFC? ….We are a non-profit statewide organization that is comprised of city, County, state and federal employees who’s capacity is to identify, support and resolve fraud related issues in a collaborative partnership.

History of CWFC The Colorado District Attorney’s Council was the parent organization for CWFC along with the Colorado Family Support Council. The 1 st meeting occurred on February 24 th, 1984 where the CWFC Constitution and By-laws were established and later adopted. In May 1989, the general membership approved separation of the Colorado Welfare Fraud Council from the Colorado District Attorney’s Council.
