American Medicine For All A Message of Peace from America to the World!

Who We Are American Medicine For All (AMFA) is an American humanitarian non-profit organization designed to share the wealth of America’s achievements in the health care and medical technology with needy people around the world. America, that may be described as the fruit of human civilization, can and should play a distinguished and unique role in today’s world. It can make a life-giving difference to people of other nations. The AMFA project is a practical way to extend our help to other nations by providing free medical care to needy people all around the world.

Goals of AMFA 1.To provide medical help to poor people outside of the United States by planning medical missions for American doctors who are interested in volunteering their professional services to people in other countries.

Goals of AMFA 2.To improve the image of America and rebuild its reputation in the international community.

Goals of AMFA 3.To open volunteering and cultural exchange opportunities for American medical school students.

Goals of AMFA 4. To develop friendly relationships with peoples and nations of different cultures and spread peace around the world.

Situation Abroad Almost half the world – over three billion people – lives on less than $2.5 a day. World Bank Development Indicators 2008 Infectious diseases continue to blight the lives of the poor across the world.

Situation Abroad Every year there are 350–500 million cases of malaria, with 1 million fatalities: Africa accounts for 90 percent of malarial deaths and African children account for over 80 percent of malaria victims worldwide Human Development Report (HDR), United Nations Development Program, November 27, 2007, p.25.

Situation Abroad 2.2 million children die each year because they are not immunized. State of the World’s Children, 2005, UNICEF Over 11 million children die each year from preventable causes like malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia.

America Can Help America has a lot to offer the world, let’s share! America ranks at the top of the world for its achievements in science and technology. The clear evidence is that American doctors are permanent winners of Noble Prize in Medicine.

American Doctors Are Ready and Willing to Help Abroad Hundreds of doctors go abroad yearly with organizations and many more are ready and willing to go if given the opportunity.

American Economy is the Largest in the World America is the richest country in the world and its economy is the biggest as well. American companies have a lot of extra medical equipment, that is obsolete in the United States due to advancements in technology, to give out and they generously donate tons of them to other organizations in our neighborhood.

The Benefits Helping Needy People By assisting needy people, the United States plays the unique role the world expects to see and shows the philanthropic character of our nation. By healing their loved ones, America brings happiness to thousands of families around the world.

The Benefits Improving the Image of America Worldwide

The image of the United States has been damaged over the last decade. Surveys conducted in numerous of foreign countries show how America lost sympathy, support and even respect of our close allies in Europe and other countries of the world. People overseas perceive that America sends only military support abroad. Loss of world wide support

Messengers of Hope and Peace By providing free medical care to needy people in foreign countries, American doctors will convey a message of hope, peace and friendship, which will bring love and respect to our nation and greatly help improve the image of the United States.

The Benefits Creating Volunteering Opportunities AMFA creates opportunities for our kind doctors to reach the needy people they intend to help. Medical students participating in AMFA would gain practical experience in medicine. This unique opportunity allows volunteers to experience how other people live and to learn more about their cultures as they provide them with needed medical care.

Why American Medicine For All? America is well known as a super power. But its philanthropic actions toward poor nations especially in the medical care is invisible. Presently, hundreds of American doctors actively participate in international organizations such as Doctors Without Borders. But this organization was created in France and the recipients of its services around the world look at it as a French or European organization. The international organizations receive big support from our community, but America remains invisible and does not receive the equal thanks and respect it deserves.

AMFA is the RIGHT RESPONSE at the RIGHT TIME AMFA will put an American label on the generous efforts our troops of mercy and compassion make to save lives of children, mothers, elderly men and women and draw smiles on the faces of tens of thousands of people around the world.

Our Resources AMFA support comes from its volunteers, grants and private donations of many gracious individuals, businesses and organizations in our community that believe in our humanitarian goal and share our concern about improving the image of America in the world. We commit to spending donated money in the most productive, efficient way possible. AMFA is 501(c) 3 organization. All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.

Our Resources Our support includes substantial donations of medicine, supplies, and equipment from healthcare companies. There are a lot of places to donate medical supplies that may otherwise be discarded. AMFA is 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.

Join Us We invite you to join us. Together we can: 1. make a difference 2. help poor people 3. send a message of hope and peace to our international neighbors 4. improve the image of America and 5. make our country and the world safer.
