Indirect Object Pronouns F IOPs answer the questions TO WHOM? or FOR WHOM? about the verb MENOS TEOS LELES
Indirect Object Pronouns F Indirect Object Pronouns are necessary in a sentence where you are communicating to or for someone: F I tell Ana the truth (I tell the truth to Ana). F Yo le digo la verdad a Ana. F I want to buy you the sweater. F Te quiero comprar el suéter. F Quiero comprarte el suéter F You may include a clarifier where necessary. Use a + person.
Indirect and Direct Object Pronouns in the same sentence F When both pronouns appear in the same sentence, the indirect object pronoun will go first. F I want to buy it (the sweater) for you. F Te lo quiero comprar. F When both pronouns start with L, change the indirect object pronoun to SE. F La profesora le explica la tarea a Juan. F La profesora se la explica (a Juan)
Reflexive Pronouns F Reflexive Pronouns appear with reflexive verbs. Together they refer to the same person, place, or thing as the subject. MENOS TEOS SESE
