Getting a Login “prompt” when signing into the city website?

With Internet Explorer open, go to Tools and Internet Options On the Connections tab click on LAN Settings

Be sure ‘Address’ and ‘Port’ look like this. Then click the Advanced button. Add ‘ in the exceptions box.

Click ‘OK’ on the next few windows to save the setting Close and then reopen Internet Explorer You should now be able to login into the website without the box popping up asking for username and password.

Tried logging in to the site and get stuck with the white screen and the login prompt that won’t go away?

To get the IE window to close will we need to stop it in Task Manager. Right-click on an open spot somewhere on the bottom toolbar, and click on Task Manager

On the ‘Applications’ tab be sure the line with the Internet Explorer icon is highlighted. Then click ‘End Task’ You may have this window pop up, just click end now.

Internet Explorer should now be closed. After this happens your account will most likely be locked. Please call Service Desk at 5500 and we can reset it for you.
