Purpose of project To allow you to consolidate your learning in bloks of the propedeuse To help you make the step from the propedeuse to the verdieping –Proactive in your approach to projects and learning –Self-supporting & finding support yourself

What will be expected of you A proactive approach to your learning and the project –Find answers from what you have learned in the first three bloks of the propedeuse –Manage your own progress against the project milestones Take action if deadlines begin to slip –Find support from other sources Other students Resources such as mediatheek, web tutorials and forums

Support Project coaching –Minimum of 3 (and up to 5) individual coaching meetings of 10 minutes with either one of two project coaches Project consultation –Up to 6 meetings of 10 minutes with any one of 3 tutors acting as consultants (based on their field of expertise)

Project coaching Coaching will focus on the project process Every Thursday (either morning or afternoon - see rooster) –10 minute meeting with either one of two coaches You will be expected to: –Book the meeting no later than 15:00 on the Wednesday before the meeting –Prepare (and bring) an agenda of points to discuss with the coach –Develop your own “eerste poging” at answers to your questions and use your coach as a sounding board –Cancel meetings you cannot make by 15:00 on the Wednesday before the meeting

Project consultation The consultation meetings will focus on the issues you have with realizing the project and could include design, technique, marketing, etc. There will be bookable appointments on Monday morning –10 minute meeting with any of the 7 tutors supporting the project You will be expected to: –Book the meeting no later than 12:00 on the Friday before the meeting –Prepare (and bring) an agenda of points to discuss at the session –Develop your own “eerste poging” at answers to your questions and use the tutor as a sounding board –Cancel meetings you cannot make by 12:00 on the Friday before the meeting N.B. there will be no coaching meetings on 9 April (Pasen) or 28 May (Pinkster)

Project coaches / tutors

Project planning N.B. 1.You should develop your own planning to meet these milestones 2.You should have at least 3 coaching sessions during the project (coaching will be important during the research phase)

Beoordeling criteria You will be assessed on two main criteria: 1.Product: the fit between your demo product and Amsterdam Partners’ briefing 2.Process: your approach to the process of developing your demo product

Beoordeling process The beoordeling will take place in week 10 of the project –Monday 16 June - 12:00 deliver CD/DVD –Wednesday 18 June - 3 minute presentations –Thursday or Friday 19/20 June – beoordeling and feedback meeting There are 3 possible beoordelingen: –Pass (V, RV, G, U) –Fail met aanvuling –Fail geen aanvuling No product + less than 3 coaching meetings and 1 consultation + more than 1 missed milestone Herkansing for fail met aanvuling will take place on Thursday 26 June (week 11)
