To try out MTIS Holiday Scheduler Go to the “Downloads” page Select the version you require

A zipped file will be transferred for saving onto your computer

Save the zipped file to a folder of your choice Unzip the file and open (If you do not have Winzip there is a link on the “Downloads” page of the website) Open the file

Provided the Macro security on your computer is set to medium you will get a message inviting you to “Enable Macros” Select “Enable Macros” If you do not get this option it may be that the security is set at high. To change this to medium select “Tools”, “Macros”, “Security” and tick the “Medium” box

You will then be taken to the Licence Agreement

Simply fill in your name and company name and click on the “Confirm” button which will appear

You will now have a copy of MTIS Holiday Scheduler which will work for the next 7 days as a free trial. The first page you enter id the “Index” which is used to navigate around the scheduler

The first task is to insert the names, departments and holiday entitlement of all staff Select “Input Names”

You can either type in all the details or if you have a list available you can “cut and paste” all the entries

If you now select one of the monthly calendars you will see that the scheduler is ready for use

Inserting holidays, sickness and training is as simple as inserting an “H”, “S” or “T”

The “H”, “S” or “T” will automatically colour. For half days enter “amH” or “pmH” etc. You can also add codes of your own. Travelling via the “Index” go to “Add Codes”

Using single upper case letters you can set up your own codes These will not colour automatically when you enter them in the calendars

But by clicking on the apply colours button they will colour

On the “Individual Reports” page you can select an individual employee and be given a report on their attendance.

On the “Individual Calendars” page you can select an individual employee and be given a full years calendar of their attendance.

Once you have completed your trial and decided that you wish to use MTIS Holiday Scheduler you need to go through the registration process Via the “Index” worksheet go to the “Registration” worksheet and take a careful note of the registration number.

Return to the website Select “Register”

Select the version that you wish to register You will then be taken to the WorldPay secure site

Insert your registration number

Proceed to the checkout and make payment Shortly after this you will receive an from MTIS with the licence number Enter this licence number in the box on the index page You will get a message confirming successful registration
