THE MILKMAID students from the 1 st c form

A long time ago, a girl and her family lived on a dairy farm.

The girl milked the cows every day. Then she took the milk to the city to sell it.

On her way to the city, she thought, “I’ll sell the milk. I’ll buy…

… a hen! It will lay eggs.

Then I’ll have chicks!”

I’ll sell them. With the money I get, I’ll buy a pig!

When the pig is fat, I’ll sell it. With the money I get, I’ll buy a calf!”

She started to jump up and down! She jumped so high! Then she tripped. Boom!

The milk spilled. Now there would be no calf, no pigs, no chicks, and no hen.
