Mrs. Patrick’s office is decorated with a lot of ships and pirate themed decorations. A principal’s work is never done so Stanley offers to assist Mrs. Patrick.

Mr. Horka is always willing to help out the students at MIS. Maybe one day I’ll be a principal and really be able to sit in Mr. Horka’s chair!

I hope Mrs. Hinkel won’t notice that I’m on the hunt for candy! She usually lets me have a piece from her candy drawer. Stanley likes visiting Mrs. Hinkel because of the great candy selection at her desk, but you have to remember to ALWAYS ASK FIRST! It’s okay if she says no.

Mrs. Kistinger has some cool pirate stuff! All I need is an eye patch and a hat. On some Fridays during the school year you can donate $1 to wear a hat on spirit day. The money helps fund PBIS for pirate buck rewards earned by students.

It is important to greet ALL visitors with a friendly smile! “There’s no goofing around when it comes to doing a great job!” Ms. Barb told Stanley.

Stanley helps locate information on the computer with Ms. Patti. Stanley is helping Ms. Olivia with data entry.

You need to know alphabetical order if you want to help with the files. It sure was a long way to climb to get to the files, but they really needed my help!

Do you need something fixed? Fix-It Stanley is on the job! The bathrooms are always neat, clean and filled with supplies.

Ms. Angie and Ms. Renee get ready to enter information for our new student Stanley Lambchop. Is he a TWIN? Stanley, will you be riding the bus to school? I don’t see your name on my bus list.

Everyone at MIS has access to technology in the computer labs, classrooms or using I-PADS. “Do you prefer an I-PAD or a personal computer?” asked Stanley.

Ms. MargaretMr. Mike

Ms. Angie takes Stanley to visit Nurse Brack because he’s not feeling well. Don’t forget you need a nurse referral! Nurse Brack takes wonderful care of her students at MIS It’s just like being at home.

Stanley helps Mrs. Cox with supplies Mrs. Campos gives Stanley a hand up so he can see around the office.

Mrs. Jones is the MIS Guidance Counselor What college you would like to attend or what job you want to have after high school? Ms. Jones gets help from Stanley sorting college catalogues.

I’m heading out with the Reading 180 specialist! I sure hope she has some cool things to read. Need a place for before/after school? Come with me to Daycare. We can help with homework too!

Mrs. Z working with students. I decided I would visit and hang out for a while..

Is this a giant guitar?Ah! Beautiful violin music.

The Original Flat Stanley Project was created in Ontario Canada in 1995 by Dale Hubert, M. Ed. so children could learn about faraway places. Children from all over the world have created and sent their “Stanley’s “ on worldwide adventures. Presidents, movie stars, and performers have taken Stanley to places he couldn’t imagine he would ever visit. If you would like to learn more about the Flat Stanley Project or just make a Flat Stanley of your own (yes, there are ones for girls too) visit the website:
