Examples If the weather is good, we’ll go to the beach. If I don’t spend all my money before the holiday, I’ll stay in a really nice hotel. If my parents give me permission, I’ll be able to go on holiday with my friends. REMEMBER : You can write the verb in negative or affirmative form on the if clause.

Examples Will they come to the party if we invite them? Are we going to wash the car if we tell them to? REMEMBER : You can use either future tense with the first conditional (will/going to). For a short answer, you can simply respond yes they will/no they won’t or yes they are/no they aren’t.
