Making a Statement IF CLAUSE: PRESENT If + + verb in simple present + complement If If the weather is good… RESULT CLAUSE: FUTURE + verb in future tense (will) + complement We We will go tothe beach If the weather is good, we’ll go to the beach.

Examples If the weather is good, we’ll go to the beach. If I don’t spend all my money before the holiday, I’ll stay in a really nice hotel. If my parents give me permission, I’ll be able to go on holiday with my friends. REMEMBER : You can write the verb in negative or affirmative form on the if clause.
