How to use this resource: This resource is aimed at teaching some of the most popular French phrases used at Easter time To start, you can teach your pupils the phrases: – Start the slideshow from slide 1 and click on the word ‘Practice’ – The new slide shows 12 pictures. Clicking on an image (in any order) will reveal the French text to show that phrase and the phrase will be played. – By clicking on the textthat appears the phrase will be re- played and the text disappears to reveal the picture again. – Go through all 12 pictures until you are happy that your pupils have learned all of the phrases. Now you can test your pupils to see if they remember the phrases: – Return to the first slide by clicking on the ‘Home’ button. – Click on the button ‘Play’. – This randomly arranges the phrases. The first phrase is shown on the screen next to Camembear. – Ask your pupils to say the phrase aloud. Then ask them which picture is being spoken. – Click on the picture that they say. A phrase will be played. If it is the correct phrase then you can move on. – If incorrect, ask the for another picture that might match. – To move on to the next phrase, click the number in the top right-hand corner.
