You couldn't walk to a community centre. You couldn't walk to a grocery store" (South Burnaby)

Themes “And also one of the things we have identified, this is under served area. Cause there's lot of people, seniors that we have lost from programming. Because it's hard for them to walk up the hill.” (Gordon)

Themes “I would definitely put the Skytrain through, it's huge resource for us...It makes it accessible for people” (Collingwood).

Physical Accessibility Accessibility - Themes "it's a vegetarian restaurant but it's been around since the 60s...it's very iconic and it's 24 hours so it's one of the only places in the community that's accessible all the time" (Kitsilano – Naam Restaurant)

So what they are doing is translating documents to Spanish for example for the people who wanna take the citizenship and do have a reading in their language kind of make more sense. Then they don't have to read in English…so we go over there, we talk about what we do here, specifically about the citizenship program” (Little Mountain)

Physical Accessibility Temporal Accessibility Linguistic Accessibility Accessibility - Themes “and many times people from Grant McNeil don't feel that comfortable coming into a facility like John Braithwaite, I think they feel more comfortable to be honest with you coming into Neighbourhood House, which is an older facility, and we have food bank here and i think that's why people coming to food bank feel more comfortable here. And we also have a Saturday lunch, it's difficult if it's a brand new, sought of, fancy-dancy facility for people that have lived here forever in Lower Lonsdale, because lower Lonsdale was the pretty low income, tough area for many years” (North Shore)
