The Highwayman By... Hannah F and Robyn P Bess=Hannah Highwayman=Adam King George’s men=Robyn Tim the osler (and any other parts)=Sam

The world lit up, as the Highwayman came riding up to the old, creaky, wooden inn door. The scent of love and ale lingered in the air. In the Landlord’s- tremendous house, Bess waited at her window. The air filled with happiness as he approached her.

He couldn’t stay long ,in case he got caught He couldn’t stay long ,in case he got caught. Suddenly, the world turned gloomy once again as the Highwayman rode away on his noble, trusty steed. What they didn’t know is that sneaky Tim the Ostler, who was in love with Bess, listened in to their secret arrangements.

In the woods, Tim the mad Osler, who wanted to get revenge on the Highwayman, told King George’s army about the highwayman. The leader’s face dropped and the sky went dark.

At the speed of light, the fearsome army of King George rode on their strong horses to the ancient inn. They drank the landlords ale and went up the stairs to Bess. The room filled with betrayal as they tied her up and waited for the Highwayman to come riding, riding, riding.

To save her beloved Highwayman, she freed one of her hands and pulled the trigger on the deadly gun, that was placed upon her chest. She hoped he would hear it echo through the night and ride away. Everything went silent as she laid in her blood, which was as red as a rose.

At his hideout, someone told him the terrible news that had happened on the night he rode away. A shadow fell over the world at the news, and the brave Highwayman rode once again to the old inn to see whether it was true or not.

Unfortunately, on his way back, one of King George’s men spotted him and got his gun then… …bang, bang, bang and the highwayman was dead. His trusty steed went wild and galloped off into the lush green forest.

Thanks for watching !!!!
