Non combatant part of Britain. They made the supplies and supports for those who were in the War. The ability to keep the Home Front running smoothly ensured the supply of essential war materials to the Front.

A lot of people died. Could get ill, because of not having food, hygiene, and others. Soldiers would not be paid by the government

Wounded soldiers in town. Lots of hurt people. Many widows, with less than 20 years. People died of diseases or because they went to war. War office won’t any man going to war Workers did not have problems but the middle class.

They saw wounded people everywhere There two sons killed and someone else has lost all three sons. People sacrifice to their country

They had to go to war yes or yes. All the people were necessary for the war. They couldn’t stay at home to care for their family to pay the bills.
