The Bermuda Triangle is made up of half a million square miles. It is a triangle made from Bermuda, Florida and Puerto rico.

On the 5 th of December 1945, five avenger torpedo bombers took of from the Fort Lauderdale Navel Air Station in Florida on a training flight over the triangle. Charles Taylor was the officer in charge 13 student air men. He was in radio contact with all his fellow pilots. Over an hour in to the flight, Taylor said that his compass wasn’t working and he wasn't sure where he was. The weather grew worse. It was hard to see and the pilots knew they were lost. Taylor said they should fly east but the planes were running out of fuel and it was getting dark. That is one of the mystery of the Triangle

The 1918 loss of the navy ship with 306 still a mystery. The U.S.S. Cyclops disappearance is the single largest loss of life on a ship not involved in combat. There were theories, but no answers. Her wreckage has never been found. The Cyclops was a Proteus class collier ship built for the US Navy before World War I. Before the war, she supported U.S. warships in European and Caribbean waters off the Atlantic seaboard as a member of the Naval Auxiliary Force. The Cyclops was commissioned into service in 1917, and continued carrying supplies to facilitate the U.S. Navy’s wartime operations. But this ship is best remembered for her disappearance. The Cyclops’ Final Voyage The ship left Rio de Janeiro on February 16, 1918, and arrived in Bahia on February 20. Before leaving port, Captain Worley had submitted a report that the starboard engine had a cracked cylinder and was inoperative. It was recommended that repairs be delayed until the ship returned to the United States.

Mrs Minar thought – Gas from the sea bed caused there gear to go wrong. Ben’s opinion – I thought there was gas that made the engines to cut out. Huntah’s opinion – When there are earthquakes, gas from the sea bed rise to the air to form a cloud over the plane to mess up the instruments.

Ben had thought, that the gas from the sea bed formed a wave to crash on top of the ship and sink. David had said – There was a rock in the way made a hole in the base, e.g. like the titanic. Toms opinion – I thought the gas from the sea bed made a gravity pull and pulled it down in the water. Travis said – It got overloaded with bubbles that made it over weigh. Cailee thought – It got taken over by water spouts. Huntah’s opinion – I thought the gas from the sea bed formed waves to sink the ship.
