Institutional background Public institutions – State level – Local level Private institutions – Funds, Assosiations, etc – Church

Hungarian State Labour Service and Labour Offices Main task is to seek and offer jobs for unemployed people Also to help physically or mentally disadvantaged people, or former prisoners to integrate and find jobs Operates with active and passive „tools” to achieve its goals.

How Labour Service operates Active tools – Seeks jobs – Gives education and mental support – Helps with administrative and legal matters – Coordinates projects Passive tools – Different transfers (only coordinator-rule in some of these transfers)

Private institutions Private financing (support, membership fee, different EU funds, etc.) Volunteers Their role: – To lobby – To be „professional” in their field – To raise awareness – To help their target group
