 Stood in Trench for hours at a time

Trench Foot-result of prolonged periods in wet, soggy boots in cold, water –filled trenches Feet swelled, blistered and caused intense pain Soldiers were ordered to change socks whenever possible

Trench Fever- caused by lice infestations High grade fever, aches, rashes
