Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS) Replaces DLA 1832 Establishes the Security Access Request (SAR) Customer can monitor status or request Current user will migrate over with no additional requirements Keep both AMPS and MEBS data current - sync both programs Use password/user ID or can enable Common Access Card (CAC) Two parts to AMPS Part one is the Security Access Request (SAR) Part two is the Mapping Account Role Request

User Registration – Welcome Page Access AMPS URL. Read and acknowledge the privacy statement by clicking “Continue”

ATTENTION: If you have a CAC, please ensure that it is inserted in your computer

User Registration – Select User Type Select User Type “Customer” . Click “Continue”.

User Registration – Privacy Act Notice Review Privacy Act Statement. Click “Continue”.

User Registration – User Information Required fields marked with red asterisks (“*”). Enter name and contact information. NOTE: DODAAC entered on this page is default associated with the user. Can be over-ridden on the MEBS Custodian role request. Click “Continue”.

User Registration –Supervisor Information Enter Supervisor name and contact information. Click “Continue”.

User Registration –Security Officer Information Enter Security Officer name and contact information. Click “Continue”.

User Registration – Create Password Enter password. NOTE: Choose password that conforms to on-screen policy. Re-enter password. Click “Continue”.

User Registration – Authentication Questions Enter an answer to each question shown on the page. Click “Continue”.

User Registration Note the User ID. Click “Leave AMPS Registration”.

User Registration – Log Off Click Log In to authenticate to AMPS and request a role.

New User Registration – Confirmation Email You will receive a confirmation email after you register.

Request Role - Login Enter User ID. Enter Password. Click “Login”.

Request Role – Home Page Click “Request Role”.

Request Role – Select Application Select the “MEBS” application. Click “Next”.

Request Role – Select Role Select “MEBS-99-MEBS Prod – Custodian Role MEBS-99” in the left-hand pane. Click “>” to move the selection to the right-hand pane. Select “Authorized” in “Type of Access Required”. Select “Unclassified” in “Data Classification”. Enter “Justification for Access/Comments”. Click “Next”.

Request Role – Compliance Statement Review the statement. Click “Next”.

Request Role – Requestor Details Fields down to “User Type” will be pre-filled from user profile. Enter “User Type” Enter Job Title “Job Grade/Pay Schedule” “SSN” “Re-enter SSN” “IA Training Completion Date” Click “Next”. IA training date is a required field but not all users are required to take this training. Any date is accepted but should be validated by the security officer in the initial form.

Request Role – Optional Information “DODAAC” will default from user profile. Over-ride default “DODAAC” if desired. Click “Next”.

Request Role – Verify Supervisor Data will pre-fill from user profile. Click “Next”.

Request Role – Verify Security Officer Data will pre-fill from user profile. Click “Next”.

Request Role – Identify Information Assurance Officer Enter IA Officer name and contact information. Click “Next”. IA officer is optional but can be the security officer or this part does not have to be filled in.

Request Role – Terms and Conditions Review terms and conditions. Click “I agree”. Click “Next”.

Request Role - Submit Review page. Note “SAAR#”. Click “Submit”.

Request Role – Completed Request Role request appears in “Profile Role Data”. Click “Check Process Status” to view request status.

Request Role – Verification email to Requestor Requestor will receive a confirmation email.

Request Role – Supervisor In Box URL in email launches AMPs approval page. Click “Request Access”.

Request Role – Approval Page Approval page shows requestor information in scrollable page.

Request Role – Supervisor Approval Scroll to the lower portion of the page. Select “Supervisor Decision”. Enter “Comments”. Click “I agree”. Click “Complete”.

Request Role – Status to Requestor Requestor will receive email notification of pending Security Officer approval.

Request Role – Verification email to Security Officer Security will receive email to request approval of role request. Click URL in email to approve or reject.

Request Role – Security Officer Approval URL in email launches AMPS approval page. Click “Request Access”. Scroll to the lower portion of the page. Enter: “Type of Investigation” “Date of Investigation” “Clearance Level” “Requestor IT Level Designation” “Security Officer Decision” “Comments” Click “Complete”.

Request Role – Status to Requestor Requestor will receive email notification of pending Data Owner approval.

Request Role – Data Owner Approval Data Owner will receive email to request approval of role request. Click URL in email to approve or reject. This is a Mapping Customer Operations function

Request Role – Data Owner Approval URL in email launches AMPS user home page for data owner. Click “View Inbox”. This is a Mapping Customer Operations function

Request Role – Data Owner Approval Inbox shows pending requests for data owner. Click “Click Here” corresponding to request. This is a Mapping Customer Operations function

Request Role – Data Owner Approval Scroll to the lower portion of the page. Note the DODAAC. Select “Data Owner Decision”. Enter “Comments” (optional). Click “Complete”. This is a Mapping Customer Operations function

MEBS Process MCO approves the request as data owners Requestor receives email notification and a Work list task in MEBS

Customer Account Request – Custodian Notification e-Mail Requestor receives e-mail notification stating that a Customer Account must be established in MEBS. Click on the URL to access the Customer Account Request Page.

Customer Account Request - Task Notification Requestor will also receive a task notification on their MEBS home page. Click on “Task Title” to access Task Details.

Customer Account Request – Custodian Notification e-Mail Requestor receives e-mail if request for DoDAAC is currently pending.

Customer Account Request – Task Action Requestor will also receive a task action if request for DoDAAC is currently pending.

Customer Account Request – Task Action View task instructions. Select “Acknowledge” task action. Click “Go”.

Customer Account Request – Complete and Submit Customer Account Request Link in e-mail and in task notification launches Customer Account Request UI. “DoDAAC” is pre-populated. Required fields are indicated by asterisks (“*”). Complete required fields. Click “Submit”. NOTE: DAASC Information will show TAC addresses available from near-real time (hourly) refresh of DoDAAF Master File. An informational message will be displayed if DAASC information is not available.

Customer Account Request - Complete and Submit Customer Account Request MEBS confirms that the request is submitted successfully. Review the information. Click “Close”.

Request Role – Notice of Pending IA Officer Approval Requestor will receive email notification of pending IA Officer approval.

Request MEBS Custodian Role – Notice of Request Completion Requestor will receive email notice that request is complete.

Request Role – Approval Timeout If pending approval times out, requestor will receive notification. Timeout is when a person in the approval chain does not take action on the request. Each level has 30 days to approve

Mapping Enterprise Business System Accessing MEBS First time DODAAC Users (Acct Status or old 1832 form) Current DODAAC Users Automatic Distribution

Mapping Enterprise Business System Accessing MEBS without CAC Use the User code and Password that was provided by AMPS

Mapping Enterprise Business System Accessing MEBS with CAC User ID Use Email CERTS

Mapping Enterprise Business System USER ID Customers only have access to “MAIN” and “Subscription” MAIN- list any pending Actions or Information Subscriptions- list your current AD and the ability to update and change current requirements

Mapping Enterprise Business System Type of AD (will not be available if you do not have that type of Subscription) DODAAC based on user access Can search by one Part Number Pick the field you want to see

Mapping Enterprise Business System Accessing Customer Automatic Distribution Custodians Super Users Custodians can only view current DODAAC information. Super Users can view any DODAAC that they are tied to within MEBS. Must search account by DODAAC in the customer input field.

Mapping Enterprise Business System Customer Mapping Account – First Time DODAAC user Mapping Account Request form, replaced the old DLA 1832 form. New form is tied to DODAAC not the user as in the past. Form is only required for first time DODAAC registration. Any changes after the initial form is filled in must be made by MCO Accounts Management Section.

Mapping Enterprise Business System This is the form that replaced the DLA 1832 requirement. This is only available to the customer for first time DODAAC map accounts. This form is linked to the Map DODAAC account and not the customer. MEBS will perform a real time query against the DAASC DoDAAF database to retrieve the TAC1 and TAC2 addresses associated with the DoDAAC. If the DoDAAC does not exist in the DAASC DoDAAF, the Customer Account Request will display a message.
