Year 10 Electives aim to develop skills and knowledge in preparation for VCE Studying a VCE subject in Year 10 has as many disadvantages as advantages Electives give opportunities to build: a base of knowledge and skills; confidence; interests and self awareness options and career plans; VCE Unit 1&2/VET offers a taste of VCE/VET engages students who can be challenged allows students to complete 6 x 3/4units allows students to apply for a University extension in Year 12
