PlastRex’s Solution for Plastic Waste Management

Plastic Waste is a Global Problem Global plastic production reaches 300 million tons annually. Annually approximately 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide. More than one million bags are used every minute. Over the last 10 years we have produced more plastic than during the whole of the last century. Packaging is the largest end use market segment accounting for just over 40% of total plastic usage.

Why Recycling of Plastic waste is Challenging? When compared to other materials like glass and metal materials, plastic polymers require greater processing to be recycled. Different plastics do not mix, which is due to the high molecular weight of their large polymer chains. Heating is not enough to dissolve such a large molecule; plastics must often be of nearly identical composition in order to mix efficiently. When different types of plastics are melted together they tend to phase-separate, like oil and water, and set in these layers.

Why we have created PlastRex* PlastRex is a unique solution for plastic waste challenge. Maintenance free product. 100% recyclable again (endless cycle). Saves wood resources. Gives us all hope for better future. * PlastRex process is being patented

PlastRex is an innovative material. PlastRex can be sawn, cut and screwed. PlastRex does not rot or absorb moisture. PlastRex is easy to clean, incl. from graffiti. PlastRex is weather resistant. Density of PlastRex is ca 0.8tons per m³. PlastRex is absolutely free of toxic substances. What is PlastRex?
