About Me Basics

ABOUT ME I’m Katie. I’m a nearly thirty-something living in Chicago. I’m a public relations executive and have represented national restaurant brands, universities and corporations over the past five years. When I’m not working, I’m always on the go. Whether in a cozy wine bar down the street or an eclectic coffee shop along the Seine, I love experiencing new places, meeting new people and making lifelong memories.

Mission Statement: Thirty Somewhere explores all there is to discover in our small little world, and I'm happy to take you along for the ride. Objective: To introduce trendsetting millennials to insider-inspired, highly curated travel destinations and experiences. Audience: Young female professionals, tending to be early adopters, who value word-of-mouth recommendations and tips. ThirtySomewhere.com Launched February 2015 BLOG BASICS

What to Expect from Thirty Somewhere: It’s been said: your thirties blow twenty-something away. A growing handle on career direction? Check. A social calendar that doesn't include play dates? Check for now. And a taste for new adventures, with a bank account that (almost) accommodates? Double check. So I thought, why not take advantage of this splendid time in life and spend it… somewhere. Anywhere. Traveling. Seeing. Doing. Tasting. Living. Sharing. Laughing. Learning. Thirty Somewhere explores all there is to discover in our small little world, and I'm happy to take you along for the ride.
