Clinton the 42nd President of USA Figure 1: Mr. Suzanne Mubarak Mr. Suzanne Mubarak First Lady of Egypt The YES Campaign was launched by 1600 delegates from 120 countries at the Alexandria Youth Employment Summit in Egypt on September 11, The Alexandria Summit was hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt and was co-chaired by the first lady of Egypt Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak and William J. Clinton the 42 nd president of United States.

The campaign was launched in response to the enormous global challenge of youth unemployment affecting millions of young people around the world.

Develop capacity of youth to lead in-country youth engagement initiatives Promote (in-country) youth entrepreneurship to address key development challenges Build in-country coalitions to develop national strategies addressing youth unemployment

YES Organized 5 International Summits in Egypt, Mexico, Kenya, Azerbaijan and Sweden

Major Achievements of YES YES Organized 5 Regional Summits in India, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Panama and Brazil

More than 20,000 stakeholders attended the summits, including cabinet ministers and head of states

YES has reached over 1 Million youth by 2006, independent study conducted by New Sector Alliance of Boston

YES commissioned 150 original publications on youth employment.

YES Supported 55 Networks with the Implementation of more than 400 youth employment projects impacting some one million young people.

Over $84 Million USD, have been raised by YES Networks since 2007
