Signature Programs

Minority Alumni Network Picnic  Every year on the first Sunday in August, Titans in the Chicago area get together for the Minority Alumni Network (MAN) Picnic. This year, the picnic will be held on Sunday, August 3, hosted by Melvin and Demetria Cryer (parents of alumna Qiana Cryer-Coupet '06) in Hazel Crest.

MALANA Pre-Orientation What is it?  A 3-day program for MALANA students that allows them to orient themselves to campus and build community amongst each other before the general student population move on campus Benefits  Move in early  Become familiar with campus  Access to faculty and staff  Build community

SafeZone Educational training for students, faculty and staff on what LGBT means and how to be a good ally.

Lavender Graduation  Graduation celebration honoring our LGBT students and allies

Summer Enrichment Program  A 10-week summer program for 12 MALANA and international students that helps students develop academically, professionally and personally.
