Dover Bay Student Classes Over a period of a few short weeks the IWFF's members (organized by Leo Snye) spent 4 separate days giving a group of about 30 students at Dover Bay an introduction to fly fishing. Sessions on fly tying, casting and theory along with the intricacies of knot tying were presented to each student. Below are posted a group of photos documenting the good days along with the bad.

Instructors gathered day one to plan strategy. Leo Snye leading the class

First session seems to be going well. No blood yet

Jack and Harold. Were they REALLY making their students raise their hands......????

Doug managed three students at this table. Good group.

Bob going through the materials list with his group

After watching Harold here I KNEW he would be able to pass the course. I was really pulling for him.

Paul giving the fine details of wrapping body material.

I'm not sure if Gerry was praying his student would finish or.....

Jack demonstrating applying head cement to a very attentive young student.

Bob and student performing a four handed whip finish. Amazing just how quickly these youngsters picked up this skill.

The completed fly. A job well done.
