Recreational Program The foundation of the Player Development Pyramid is the Recreational Program Ages Under 5 thru Under 19 Fully staffed with dedicated, volunteer coaches Child’s first introduction to soccer Play and have fun Teach good behaviors Learn the basic techniques and FUN-damentals Additional training methods: –P–PDP Clinics ** FREE ** –J–Juggling Club ** FREE ** –3–3v3 Tournaments –S–Summer and Winter Camps –A–Academy of Excellence National Region State Select Program Academy of Excellence Recreational Academy Recreational

Academy of Excellence The next level is the Academy of Excellence Ages Under 9, 10, 11, and 12 Professional coaches and trainers with state and national licenses Curriculum approved by the State Director of Coaching Play, have fun, and teach good behaviors. Refine techniques and introduce tactics. Identifies players for Select Program. Team Summer camp Two training sessions a week Optional Training includes: –C.A.S.E. Training –Mommertz Method Training –Finishing –Goalkeeper Training –Juggling Club National Region State Select Program Academy of Excellence Recreational

Select Program The next level is the Select Program Ages Under 13 and Up Professional coaches and trainers with state and national licenses Prepares players for the next level: –High School –ODP State Team –ODP Region Team –College –Youth National Team. ODP State Team The next level is the ODP State Team is our stateGeorgia Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) is our state affiliate and governing body. The Olympic Development Program (ODP) State Team is operated by GYSA. It is the highest achievement, honor, and competition a player can attain at the state level. Prepares players for the next level: –ODP Region Team –College –Youth National Team. Identifies players for the ODP Region Team and Youth National Team National Region State Select Program Academy of Excellence Recreational State

ODP Region Team The next level is the ODP Region Team Operated by the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA)Operated by the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) Georgia is in Region III, 1 of 4 USYSA nationwide regions Region III works in tandem with ODP State Teams and the Youth National Team program It is the highest achievement, honor, and competition a player can attain at the regional level Prepares players for the next level: –College –Youth National Team Identifies players for the Youth National Team program National Region State Select Program Academy of Excellence Recreational Region

Youth National Teams Senior National Team The top tier in the Player Development Pyramid is the Youth National Teams and Senior National Team Operated by the United States Soccer Federation –Our national affiliate and governing body The Youth National Team –The highest achievement, honor, and competition a player can attain at the youth level. –Prepares players for the next level: College Professional Senior National Team. –Identifies players for a Professional Career and the Senior National Team The Senior National Team is the highest achievement, honor, and competition a player can attain for his or her country.
