The dream catcher

5 Golden House Rules 1) Be organized and structure your work - Create a list with your tasks and set up your priorities 2) Work before pleasure - Finish your work before you start with free time activities 3) Don’t stick to the unimportant things - Focus on the main work to get the best possible result

4) Be concentrated - Don’t let yourself getting distracted, switch off your computer, your cell-phone and the TV - Stay focused! 5) Make breaks - To stay motivated, you can’t work for hours - You have to give yourself rest

Two remarkable partner works F. about S. : If S. knew she had to die in 3-6 months, I think that she would travel a lot. She would go to the places she hasn't been before, but always wanted to go to. She would also spent a lot of time with her friends and family. S. would do whatever she wants to do, but she would try to stick to her daily life as well, she'd have fun and enjoy the rest of her life.

S. about herself: If I knew that I had to die in 3-6 months, I would spent as much time as possible together with my friends and family. Furthermore I'd visit some interesting places in the world where I haven't been before, maybe together with my family or some other friend. It's important to enjoy the rest of your life, but you should hold on to your daily life, like school, friends etc. I'd try to think positive and do things I normally wouldn't have done.

Coment At first you can notice that the texts are similar to each other, so both had the same idea, which I think is really good, because you can see that the person who wrote about the other one knew much about her and that she could emphasize with her. What I like about S.'s text is that she would try to still enjoy her life without caring too much about the fact that she has to die. She would visit other places and travel a lot, but she'd also try to stick to her daily life, so that she lives like she has before. She tries to keep the normality of her daily life, she wouldn't want to be influenced by the thought of dying. I think it's also good that she wants to do things she actually wouldn't have done, so that she can say that she tried it, because maybe if she hadn't done it she would have said why didn't I try it when I was able to do it. So all in all I can say that it was a good text in which a lot of good ideas were mentioned, but I think that it is really remarkable that she wants to try to still think positive and to enjoy everything that she would try to do during the little time she only has left.

Max about Luisa: First she would cry a lot but then she would celebrate her life because it was great. She would spend a lot of her time with her friends and make a little bit online- shopping. She would take part at the world cheerleading contest because she loves this kind of sports. In the last few days she would spend her time with her family and her childhood- friend Lena in California.

Luisa about herself: If I had to die in a couple of months, I would spend my time with my family and my closest friends. I would travel to every place I like but haven't gone to yet, for example Paris and London. I would also visit my host family and my friends in the US. I would spend all of my saved money and I would try to have a good time.

Coment This partner work is remarkable because Max's text is close to what Luisa wrote and even more to what she thinks. Max said that Luisa would cry and actually this is right. She did not write about that part but after thinking bout it she said that he is right. He also mentioned the relationship to her friends and family and that she would spend as much time as possible with them, which is right as well. In one point Max is wrong though. She would not spend her last days in California. She would spend her last days with her family in Germany. But Max could not know that because Luisa said that she loves California. Referring to cheerleading Max was right again. Luisa did not write it in her text but she loves cheerleading and it means a lot to her. She would definitely join her American cheer squad again to cheer for the last time. When Luisa read Max's text she was surprised because she did not think that Max would guess her plans so well. She also liked that he mentioned her childhood- friend Lena and other personal facts. She said that if both texts were put together it would be the perfect solution:   If I had to die in a couple of month I would cry a lot in the beginning but after a while I would celebrate my life because it was great. I would spend my time with my family and my closest friends. Furthermore I would visit my host family and my friends in the US. I would participate in the world cheerleading contest because I love this kind of sport. I would also travel to every place I like but have not gone to yet, for example Paris or London. All in all I would spend all of my saved money to have a great time.
