Theme 2 What if you could fly? What if you could fly, if you had wings on your back and your home was on top of a tree? Would that be thrilling or scary? Here are some thoughts from Hässelbygårdsskolan. Enjoy the reading. We are looking forward to your responses at the end of our slide show.

What if … What if I could fly like a butterfly and sing like a famous star. Fantastic! Maybe like Madonna. If I could, I would fly to London and land on the London Eye, the big wheel. Then I would fly to Buckingham Palace to visit Queen Elizabeth. I would land on her hat and rest my wings in the garden behind the palace. Perhaps I would sing for her guests if there was a garden party. The Queen would hear my voice but not know where it came from. She would call the police and ask them to look for a singer. And I would just sit on a flower watching everyone. That would be fun. Birgitta Flodén (teacher)

What if … Maybe this is the Queen’s hat. Maybe not. Visit her garden party, look at the beautiful hats and have a cup of tea. Click here

If I could fly I would travel all around the world. I would never stop flying and I would visit every possible place on earth. To feel the air in my face, to see the world when you are up in the blue. See things from a whole new perspective! I think it sounds amazing. Eileen grade 7

If I had the ability to fly I would visit my mother who lives in Trinidad. I would also give the people in Africa the food and water they need. I would fly to China and walk along the Great Wall of China because it´s beautiful. Some astronauts say that you can see the wall of China from space. Anonymous Girl, 6a

If I could fly I would go flying at midnight and dawn, so that it would feel as the world were mine. I would fly across Iceland. I would fly to an Arctic iceberg just for the sake of being alone, where it would be just me and the sky. I wish I could fly. Anonymous Girl, 6a

If I could fly I would fly to school. I would fly home from school. If I’m too tired to walk I could fly. Alexander 8B

If I could fly, I would travel the world. See new places. I could be a super hero if I wanted to. I don´t know if I could possibly do anything more. I would just fly! Philip 8B

That would be great! I would fly to Africa. I would fly with birds, I would most of the time. I would never use my legs. But now when I think about it… I wouldn’t tell anybody. Would keep it like a secret. And only use my wings when I needed them.

If I could fly I would fly to a warm place so I wouldn’t have to pay for airplane tickets. Then I would not have to risk that anybody would take over the plane and kill me. I would go to the highest building in the world then jump down and right when I’m about to crash I would fly up again.
