The Spooky House by Christine Léger There was once a boy named Frank who lived in an old ancestral house.

Frank was a twelve-year-old happy boy who got along well with other kids at school. All in all, Frank was a happy boy.

Frank had, however, one big problem at home that he could no longer ignore.

Sometimes late at night, when Frank was in bed, he could hear strange noises that would send shivers up his spine.

One night, as he was almost asleep, Frank glimpsed at his window and saw a strange white fleeting figure that disappeared almost instantly.

Frank knew then and there that he had two choices: 1.Ignore the strange figure and wait until morning.Ignore the strange figure and wait until morning. 2.Check through the window to get a better look at the strange figure to find out what it is.Check through the window to get a better look at the strange figure to find out what it is.

When came morning, Frank went downstairs to eat his breakfast with his family. As usual, nobody believed him when he told them that he saw a ghost.

When the noises started again, Frank hid under his covers, but was afraid of telling his family. He knew they wouldn’t believe him. He was scared
