Making Popcorn By Room 11 Children October 2010

Making Popcorn The letter of the week is P so we made some popcorn.

We are watching the popcorn cook.

We waited patiently.

Miss Jury is cooking the popcorn.

We could hear the popcorn pop.

Miss Jury had to shake the pot so the popcorn wouldn’t burn.

The popcorn was cooked because we couldn’t hear it pop any more.

Miss Jury tipped the popcorn into the big bowl.

We went back to our classroom and put icing sugar or salt on our popcorn.

Here is Aimee putting a teaspoon of icing sugar on her popcorn. I like salt on my popcorn.

This popcorn is yummy. I I anI I am hungry.

Yum, yum, yum. I have sticky fingers

We all ate our popcorn. Please can I have some more?

Popcorn is good to eat. I wish we had popcorn every day.

It was fun making popcorn.
