Malvern By Isabell, Alex, William and Bethany

Amazing Activities The activities were very exciting. We didn’t know what the activities were going to be until we got there; but we weren’t afraid.

Brilliant Bushcraft Bushcraft was really cool. We got to build a fire, a den and we had to search for food. At the end we sat inside a stone age hut.

Beacon walk The Beacon walk was very long, it was very tiring; especially up the steep parts. We were very relieved when we got to the top. We were 1395 feet over sea level; we could see everything, even the edge of Wales!

Orienteering The orienteering was a punch trail; we had a piece of paper with numbers on it and when we saw a hole punch with a number on it we had to punch a hole in the paper were the right number was.

Zip wire The zip wire was very fun but at the same time it was very nerve-racking because there was a ladder nailed to a tree and we had to climb up it was very scary.

Archery The instructor taught us how to hold the bow and arrow then how to shoot the arrow. Shazad got two bulls eyes in one game!

Night line In the night line we had to find a partner, one person was wearing a pair of blackout goggles and the other person had to guide them under, over, and across. It was really fun because you wouldn’t know where you were going. And there was a black out tunnel which was pitch black inside.

Low ropes The low ropes course didn’t have low ropes, everything was high: the swings, the see-saw, the tyres. It was high but very fun!

Rock climbing When we went to the rock climbing wall the instructor told us how to put are harnesses on. The wall was difficult, high and very tiring.

The Stores The Store is where we get are gear Tellytubbie suits, Helmets, Harnesses, ect.

The dormitories It was something to watch, while we were making the beds Shazad got inside the quilt and Jake tried to close the opening so Shaz would be stuck.

Accommodation The accommodation was luxurious with five star dining and the most comfy cabins.

Food, food and more food In the morning we could choose from a wide range of food, and a wide range of sandwich fillings for us to make our lunch. In the evening we had a very yummy tea (and pudding!)

Working together We had a very memorable experience at Malvern we learnt about teamwork and having fun at the same time. We didn’t just have to co-operate with the people we knew, we had to work with other people too.

Goodbye! Thank you for watching our power point about Malvern Hills Outdoor Education Centre
