January 2014 Traditional games: BANDIERINA LITTLE FLAG eTwinning project “Let’s grow up together” year 2 Class 3 A Rignano sull’Arno Primary school - Italy

There are two teams with the same number of players, each player has a number: one, two… The two teams are in their part of playing-field. Each player is in front of the player of the opposite team with the same number. In the middle there is the child who holds the little flag tightly.

The child with the little flag calls one number that correspond to the couple of players, in random order.

The two players of the couple run to take the little flag, trying to return as quickly as possible to their own place as to escape from the adversary. The player who arrives first in his place with the little flag gets a point.

But if the adversary takes him, the opposite team gets a point.

The team who has more points or that arrives first to the decided score wins the game.
