Women’s Club of Glen Ridge Who Are We?

Our Members are:  doctors, dentists, nurses and therapists  teachers and students, accountants and business people  artists, musicians, actresses and playwrights  authors and librarians, publishers and publicists  architects, builders, realtors, decorators, organizers and designers

Our Members:  average age is between 14 and 90  has or does not have children  have grandchildren or are grandchildren  are interested in music, and the arts  like to cook, entertain, play bridge, canoe and paint  some play soccer, others like yoga or salsa dancing  many like to read

Our Members:  sit on the boards of every major organization in town  are on the Board of Education and Town Council  are Republicans, Democrats, liberals, conservatives or somewhere in between  may have lived her entire life in Glen Ridge, or moved here from Chicago last week  might work full time, part time or work at home

Our Members:  are as likely to be named Agarwal as Brown or Smith  might belong to a church or temple, or might not  might be active in the Club or only help out once in a while  come to meetings in their business attire, tennis whites, gardening clothes or sweats

But the qualities we all share are …  a willingness to get involved  a desire to make things a little better  a hope to make a difference  a desire to support one another
