Dot Chasney, Nancy Love, and Jackie Cochran Dot Chasney wanted to help end war Nancy Love was in charge of the W.A.F.S.- Women’s Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron that were going to ferry planes and later merged with the W.A.S.P.-Women’s Airforce Service Pilots Jackie Cochran was the head of W.A.S.P
