Matthew 13:24-43 What questions do we have?

Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again. There’s so much good and so much evil around. Whose Earth is it? Is everything black or white or are there shades of Grey? Why does evil exist? Why does God permit evil? Does God always permit evil? What’s the point of life?

To permit, let go, leave, forgive 3:15Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfil all righteousness." Then John consented. 4:20At once they left their nets and followed him. 5:40And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 6:12Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 8:14-15When Jesus saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her. 8:22Jesus said “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” 18:12If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 19:14Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. 19:27Peter answered him, "We have left everything to follow you! 27:50And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

For now, good & evil are everywhere in God’s earth. Matthew 13 24Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26When the wheat sprouted and formed ears, then the weeds also appeared. 27"The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?' 28"'An enemy did this,' he replied. "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?' 29"'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’” For now, good & evil are everywhere in God’s earth. For now evil is permitted. In the end God will weed it out of his kingdom. For now, the growing and keeping safe of good seeds is the thing.

For now, good & evil are everywhere in God’s earth. 36Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field." 37He answered, "The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. 40"As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Thank God for his written Word to us For now, good & evil are everywhere in God’s earth. For now evil is permitted. In the end God will weed it out of his kingdom. For now, the growing and keeping safe of good seeds is the thing.

For now, good & evil are everywhere in God’s earth. Whose earth is it? 24Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

Is everything black or white or are there shades of Grey? 24Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26When the wheat sprouted and formed ears, then the weeds also appeared. 27"The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field?
