A Stormy Night

I’ll call Pam …

Who could it be?

Hello Pam?

Speaking! How are you Andy?

Fine! What a lovely day…

Yes, after yesterday’s storm! I just could not sleep … I was afraid.

Really? On the contrary I really had fun … Tim hoped that it would snow.

But it never snows in Malta, we only get hailstorms.

He still hopes … he made a paper boat … to see it float along the flooded street.

Did your mum allow him to go out in the bad weather?

He didn’t ask … there was a power failure.

I believe he was petrified poor boy!

We sent him to sleep … we didn’t hear anything.

How lucky! I kept thinking of Dad out at sea in the cold night…

But everything is fine isn’t it?

Yes! He came back at quarter to six, drenched to the skin.

I don’t like the look of those grey clouds.

Oh my! Tomorrow will turn out to be a foggy day …
