In October 2015, MIT will convene Solve to inspire and empower technologists, philanthropists, business leaders, policy makers and social change agents to solve the most difficult challenges of our times.
Solve will bring to the MIT campus over 500 technologists and scientists, students and faculty, CEOs and business leaders, policy-makers and NGO leaders.
MAKE LEARN FUEL CURE Solve challenges academic institutions, corporations, foundations, and philanthropists to use their combined power to generate solutions to big problems in four fundamental areas.
LEARN Access to education, and digital and distance learning.
CURE Affordability of care, and advanced diagnostics and therapies.
MAKE Manufacturing, global infrastructure, and the future of work.
FUEL Environmental sustainability, food and water, renewable energy.
Solve will identify 20 challenges where emerging technologies, combined with business innovations and smart policies, have the potential to make the world a better place.
