Don Lee Center Virtual Tour Welcome to camp! We hope you will be able to visit us in person soon, but for now you can “virtually” visit our facilities and see the recreational opportunities available at Don Lee.

FACILITIES

Cabins at Don Lee Some cabins have six rooms of 4 beds each – ideal for family groups! Block-style cabins include three rooms, two with eight beds and one with four beds.

Each room includes two to four sets of bunk beds. All beds are twin-sized, and all bunks have bedrails for the top bunk.

Meeting and Gathering Spaces Although the facility is ideal for spending time outdoors, there are many areas around camp to meet indoors.

Community Life Center (CLC) The CLC can seat up to 350+ people, with a stage area ideal for worship, presentations, or performances. Great for large-group games and activities.

Fellowship Hall The Fellowship Hall can seat up to 200 people, and it includes a wood-burning fireplace. Ideal for group games and activities.

Arts and Crafts Building This space is ideal for both artsy activities and as a meeting space for a group of

Pavilions Two screened pavilions allow you to have a covered space while still enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Both pavilions have electricity and lights.

Chapel The chapel is a multi-purpose space and can be used as an area to set up a place for prayer and meditation, or as a meeting space for a group of Overlooks the river.

Dining Facilities The dining hall seats up to 280. Meals at Don Lee are served family style. The Center’s chef is open to meal requests as well, from the classic fried chicken to a seafood feast to whatever your group can dream up.

Bath Houses There are two bath houses on campus, located in close proximity to all cabins.

ACTIVITY AREAS

Swimming Pool The swimming pool includes a deep and shallow end for all skill levels, a low and high dive area, as well as a rope swing in the deep end.

Archery Range Learn to shoot a bow and arrow while at camp! The Don Lee Center provides all equipment, and staff will instruct participants in safety and technique.

Canoeing and Kayaking Canoe down Gatlin Creek or do some sea kayaking in the Neuse! The Center provides all equipment, including life vests. Special canoe and kayak trips are available!

Sailing The signature activity at Don Lee! On retreats, trained staff will take you on the ride of your life on our Flying Scots. We can also provide a weekend dedicated to sailing if your group wants to master the art! Come back in the summer to experience even more.

Activity Courts Don’t miss the action on our basketball and volleyball courts, or take it a little slower with some horseshoes. And don’t forget the classic Four Square!
