201 4 Mentors for Positive change LOVE NEVER FAILS

The Mentors For Positive Change Program will provide mentees access to…  A significant and ongoing 1-1 relationship with a trained adult of the same gender.  An opportunity to establish a relationship based on trust and respect.  A role model that will empower the mentee to develop a healthy self-image and relevant life skills.  A relationship that will help the mentee to identify high risk behaviors and support them as they identify professional help if needed.  A relationship who will provide emotional support during times of transition and future growth. Compassion and Support Role Modeling Life Skills Abuse Prevention Trust & Respect Commitment The Mentors for Positive Change (M4PC) : The program was developed to support youth in their life’s journey. Our goal is for mentees to gain a sense of belonging and acceptance by inviting them to participate in a 1-on-1 relationship which provides access to safe and enriching activities that empower them to make positive life choices.

Mentors are trained and are background checked There are monthly mentor meetings to provide support and training on additional topics Leadership is available between meetings for urgent matters 38 mentors have been trained to date M4PC Overview:
