The 2010 Florida Legislature directed the Agency to issue an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) and, through the ITN process, Harris Corporation was awarded a four-year, $19 million contract by AHCA on December 22, 2010 to implement a statewide health information exchange (HIE) infrastructure that will improve the delivery and coordination of health care.
