What is a book club? A book club is a group of people who meet to take part in the discussion of books. The books we read this year…  THE OUTSIDERS by S. E. Hinton, a book written for teenagers.  The writer of “The Outsiders” was 16 years old when she wrote the book. She wanted to write a book about real teenagers and about what was happening at her school.  The story takes place in a small American town in the 1960s and it is about two weeks in the life of a fourteen-year-old boy, Ponyboy.

Working on the books… While discussing the books, we kept notes. We used these notes to make colourful POSTERS. We also organised a LITERARY WORKSHOP for the friends of books in our school.
