Animal Project Description Goal: Describe the endangered animals of Bartholomew County and how to help keep them from becoming extinct. Materials: Books, Netbooks, The Fifth Grade Website “Animal Project”, Rubrics, Description Helpful Websites: (All found on our Fifth Grade Website) DNR website FWS website IndianaWildlife.org Requirements: Your project is to be no longer than 5 minutes. You must include the following information. - What is the status of your animal? - A photo of your animal - Is your animal prey, predator, or both? - What does it eat? What eats it? - What is your animal’s habitat? - What threatens your animal? (Natural threats and Man-made) -How can we, as a grade-level, help your animal? (Include a short plan) Presentation: Your presentation may be completed in any manner you chose. If your presentation requires materials, you must bring them in to use during class. Do not forget you must present in front of your classmates. Follow the rubric for all projects. Below are some suggested ways to present.
