ICDMS (Integrated Case Docket Management System) Project Background This project focuses on the rewrite of the current CAS system into a comprehensive and effective Case Management Solution for the South African Police Service including the eDocket (Fast Tracked Case Registration and administration services) functionality as defined and requested by SAPS TMS Senior Management. There are two specific business area’s that have been defined within this project, Administer Case Investigate Case. The business modeling of the Administer Case component of this project is currently well underway. April 2013

ICDM Sub-Project Status CAS – still deployed nationally and will remain until ICDMS is nationally deployed and all resources trained. (Longer Term) 1 ICDMS – Business Analysis phase of the project is progressing slowly hampered by resource issues. BS tender is awarded. 79 stations deployed in Gauteng and other Provinces respectively. TMS currently planning further rollout. 2 3 Docket Scanning – Project is progressing well. Already deployed in over 900 police stations / sites and almost 3 million documents have been scanned to date. Further rollout ongoing in Provincial TMS responsibility. 4 e-Docket – is available to all the stations that have the network infrastructure and the equipments 5 CAS WEB (Modernization) – Project is completed. The entire CAS has been converted and is available nationally. HATS product available for other business areas. April 2013

ICDMS Pilot Stations (20 – Gauteng) 2011/12 20 stations implemented in 2011/12 1. Alberton, 2. Katlehong, 3. Jeppe, 4. Kagiso, 5. Alexandra, 6. Bramely, 7. Tsakane, 8. Honeydew, 9. Randburg, 10. Krugersdorp, 11. Benoni, 12. Brakpan, 13. Cullinan, 14. Brooklyn, 15. Garsfontein, 16. Lyttelton, 17. Pretoria Central, 18. Pretoria North, 19. Sunnyside 20. Wierdabrug At all of these police stations and associated detective offices resources have been trained and Cases have been registered at each. Provincial TMS is monitoring progress and re-visiting stations for support purposes April 2013

ICDMS 2012/2013 Rollout Plan (40 Planned) Stations from TMS Provincial for 2012-2013 rollout is as follows:- (59 in Total) KZN                       Chatsworth, Marianhill, Durban, Point, Empangeni, Escourt, Howick, Kwadukuza, Ladysmith, Margate, PMB, Pinetown, Hillcrest, Kwadabeka, Plessieslaer & Nongoma Northern Cape    Galishewe, Kakamas, Grobelaarshoop & Upington North West         Rustenburg, Klerksdorp, Brits, Potchefstroom, Mafekeng, Jouberton, Mmabatho, Hartbeesfontein & Phokeng Mpumalanga      Nelspruit, Pienaar, kabokweni, Barbeton, Kwa Mhlanga, Siyabuswa, Mhluzi, Secunda & Ermelo Eastern Cape       Mount Road, Cradock, Graaf Reinet, Mount Ayliff, Aliwal North & Motherwell Gauteng               Roodepoort, Moroka, JHB Central, Booysens & Vanderbijlpark Free State            Parkweg & Bayswater Limpopo               Pienaars River & Naboonspruit   Six (6) Additional Stations have been completed to date, Roodepoort, Potchefstroom, Hartbeesfontein, Cradock, Graaf Reinette & Mount Ayliff.
